About Dr Mark Troski

Dr Mark Troski studied medicine in Melbourne and commenced specialist training at the world renowned Moorfield’s Eye Hospital in London in 1989. He completed this specialist training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and was then appointed there as a ophthalmologist in 1996

 

He joined his Fathers ophthalmology practice in Collins St which had been established in Melbourne in the 1950's

Dr Troski was also appointed as a specialist ophthalmologist at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear hospital.

 

 

 In 2006 Dr Troski and a number of Ophthalmic surgeon colleagues built a dedicated day surgery in order to provide the latest state of the art facilities for patients as well as to be able to provide dedicated specialised nursing staff for eye surgery. They built the Victoria Parade Surgery Centre at 100 Victoria Parade so that patients would have access to a centrally located facility. Dr Troski moved his consulting practice to 100 Victoria Parade so that local, interstate and overseas patients all had access to this facility.

Dr Troski has the latest equipment for biometry measurements, including the newly released IOL Master 700. Dr Troski and his team are dedicated to providing patients with the highest standard of cataract surgery available. Dr Troski regularly audits his cataract results and is actively involved in all of the latest improvements in cataract surgery. Dr Troski has pioneered a number of surgical techniques and intraocular lenses in Australia and regularly attends interstate and overseas conferences to keep up with the latest developments in cataract surgery.
